TRIP REPORT | Icelandair NEW 737MAX8 (ECONOMY) | Berlin Tegel to Reykjavik | Boeing 737MAX8 Trip Report of my ICELANDAIR Boeing 737 MAX 8 flight from Berlin Tegel (TXL) to Keflavik Airport (KEF) in Economy Class. I took this flight in late February 2019 - so less than a month before the second crash of a Boeing 737MAX8 and the consequent grounding of all aircraft worldwide of this type. (Also I edited and scheduled this video before the crash - I have to publish it now as I am on vacation and don't have any other video available otherwise...) The flight time from Berlin Tegel to Keflavik/Reykjavik is around 3 hours and 30 minutes. Onboard you find a very modern cabin with personal entertainment screens. The onboard service could be better though. On this flight only drinks are included and the food options are very limited and expensive! My seat was 23F behind the wing to get a nice view of the newly shaped winglet.
