FAREWELL GERMANIA! (1986 - 2019) | Another German Airline went Bankrupt... Yesterday on 4th February 2019 the German Airline "Germania" has filed insolvency and stopped all flight operations. With a fleet of 37 aircraft of the Boeing 737 family and Airbus A320 family Germania operated scheduled and chartered flights to popular holiday destinations from Germany. I personally only had one flight on Germania but I liked it. I will publish the corresponding Trip Report soon - stay tuned if you don't want to miss it.
