TRIP REPORT | SWISS A220 Business Class | Zurich to Berlin | My FAVORITE Regional Aircraft (CS100)! Trip Report of my SWISS Airbus A220-100 (ex CS100) flight from Zurich to Berlin in Business Class. This was the second flight of the year 2019. After spending some time in the new Business Lounge A at Zurich Airport it was time to catch my flight back home to Berlin Tegel. I got an aircraft change (again) but this time it was positive :D From an Airbus A220-300 (which I already flew several times (Air Baltic)) to an A220-100 - the smaller version of my favorite regional aircraft. I was to first passenger to board and was amazed by the bright and modern cabin. The aircraft comes in a 2-3 seat configuration however in Business Class you will always have a free seat next to you (1-2). Snow was falling outside so de-icing was needed before departure causing our 1 hour delayed departure. I had no problem with it - I just enjoyed the show (check out the full wing view videos on my channel)! After a very powerful short takeoff the service was about to begin. On this 1 hour 20 minute long flight Swiss served a cold meal and a wide selection of drinks. The salmon fillet was tasty and the potato salad went great with it. On the side they served two kinds of cheese with a fresh bun and also a nice dessert. After the meal service was finished we already started the descent into Berlin Tegel Airport. Exchanged a few words with the crew and the pilots and then headed back home after a great flying day.
