TRIP REPORT | Royal Brunei 787 (ECONOMY) | Brunei - Melbourne | Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (Flight 3/3) Trip Report of my Royal Brunei Airlines flight from Brunei Bandar Seri Begawan Airport (BWN) to Melbourne Tullamarine Airport (MEL) aboard a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft in Economy Class. On my way from London to Melbourne, Australia I found a really great deal on Royal Brunei Airlines - a rather unknown airline in Europe. A few years ago they served other destinations like Amsterdam and Frankfurt - now they only fly to London. This is flight 3/3 from Brunei to Melbourne - the last 7 hour hop :D About the flight: The cabin was modern looking with comfortable seats, useful amenities, great leg room and a personal entertainment screen with a good selection of movies. Service wise this 6h40mins long flight included only 1 warm meal accompanied by non alcoholic beverages only (national airline of the Muslim country Brunei). The cabin crew was friendly and very helpful at all times - great! At the gate I asked if there were any free rows on this flight and i was lucky! I got a full row to myself and got some good sleep.
