TRIP REPORT | CZECH AIRLINES | A330-300 | SPECIAL FLIGHT | Prague - Bratislava - Prague | Economy TRIP REPORT: Czech Airlines Airbus A330-300 Special Avgeek Flight from Prague to Prague via Bratislava :D While searching for new airlines to review I found CSA Czech Airlines quite tempting - especially their Airbus A330-300 (OK-YBA) of which they only have one in their fleet. By surprise I found this special flight to Bratislava - only one week before the actual flight - Lucky me! In the morning of the 6th October 2018 I flew over from Berlin TXL to Prague where the Czech Airlines Special Flight OK2018 was scheduled to depart from. I was one of the first persons onboard so I was able to get some shots of their cabin products in both Economy (252 seats) and Business Class (24 seats). My seat for both "legs" (flights) was 41A. Luckily I got the window seat as it was already difficult to get the minute online check-in was first available for this flight. The flight from Prague to Bratislava is pretty short and took about 40 minutes. Onboard they served some champaign and water. After arrival in Bratislava we parked on a remote stand. A snack box including a sandwich and drinks were served on the ground but still inside the aircraft as part of the special flight event. After that we were finally released to do a walk around of the aircraft on the apron where I was able to get some nice shots for you. After about 15 minutes everyone headed back to their seats and we flew back to Prague (again 40 minutes). I waited until most people deboarded to get some more empty shots of the cabin with great leg room - especially for Economy Class "standards". While leaving every passenger got a certificate for being on that flight. Overall it was a fantastic way for me and others to experience the product which Czech Airlines has to offer. I would love to see more airlines doing similar events to promote their products - especially the walk around part impressed me the most.
