TRIP REPORT | Widerøe Embraer E190-E2 | Bergen - Hamburg | Economy Flex TRIP REPORT: Join me on my Widerøe flight from Bergen to Hamburg on the brand new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft in Economy Class. Bergen Airport was beautiful and a great place to start the journey. Before the flight I checked in online but I didn't get my prefered seat in row 4 for the engine view. I had booked an Economy Light ticket but to sit in the front of the aircraft you need a Flex ticket (which I didn't know before). So onboard I asked the crew and they allowed me to change the seats. The cabin of the new Embraer E190-E2 is very bright and modern. Widerøe has even installed universal power outlets for every seat which is something not many regional airlines offer! After a very scenic evening takeoff over the Fjords of Norway I could watch the sunset from above the clouds. During this 1 hour 20 minutes long flight to Hamburg, Germany Widerøe served a free coffee or tea and additional drinks and snacks for purchase. After the flight I got to see the flight deck and the pilots were happy to explain some details to me. After that I went to my hotel near Hamburg Airport to catch some sleep before my next early morning flight on Condor's 757-300 bound for Palma de Mallorca.
