TRIP REPORT | FIRST FLIGHT Qatar Airways A350-1000 (A7-ANB) | Doha - London (QR1) | Economy Class Tip me: https://www.paypal.me/planespottingberlin TRIP REPORT: Flying the BRAND NEW Qatar Airways A350-1000 from Doha Hamad (DOH) to London Heathrow (LHR) in Economy Class. This was the FIRST FLIGHT with passengers of this Airbus A350-1000 (A7-ANB) which was delivered to Qatar Airways only 5 days earlier (preparing)! I felt very honoured/lucky to be among the first passengers to fly on this beautiful aircraft from Doha to London Heathrow as flight QR1. The flight time is around 6 hours and 45 minutes. Seat for my wing view was 29A. Boarding in Doha went smoothly and onboard you were greeted by a friendly crew, a very modern, and BRAND NEW cabin product. After departure i watched a movie on the well responding personal video screen that can be found in each seat. The choice of movies was good. After the great meal service (lunch) I went to the galley and exchanged with the cabin crew. Even though the flight was over 6 hours long it passed by to quick. The leg room was good - even better than most other aircraft I have flown on before mainly because the new IFE screens do not need a bulky computer under the seat anymore - meaning more leg room for you! The flight arrived in London on time after a pre-landing snack consisting of two pastries. All in all a very enjoyable flying experience on Qatar Airways - especially on the brand new A350-1000 (5 days old aircraft on date of flying). I would definitely recommend and fly on Qatar Airways again in the future.
